Chapter Resource

Board members are essential to the success of every non-profit. However, we all know that all board members are not created equal. What should all board members, regardless of wealth or comfort in asking others for support, be expected to do? Check out what Gail Perry (who presented at an AFP South Sound program in November) says are the 10 things each and every board member for your organization should be doing.

A Special Thank You

This month we want to give a big THANK YOU to our very own AFP South Sound chapter members Jan Brazzell, Lyman Gifford, and Jim Greenfield for volunteering their time and talent to teach the CFRE Review Course last week. The course drew participants from as far as Georgia, Texas and California and many from our very own chapter. We are so fortunate to have dedicated, experienced, and accomplished professionals in our chapter capable of teaching the course. Not only do these three serve our chapter in a multitude of important ways, they also serve on AFP International committees. Jan, Lyman, and Jim - we are proud and grateful to count you among the many in our fabulous chapter!
